Herbs for Mental Clarity and Focus

I am a multi-tasker and I am usually very good at it, however there are days when I have difficulty and I can't figure out which side is up.

Those days are filled with a long must-do today list.  Time management and prioritizing are essential.

I rely on medicinal herbs to help me on days like this.  The following herbs help me to focus and gain clarity:

Rosemary (Rosemarinus officinalis):  will help to increase circulation to improve mental clarity and focus.   Nervous system relaxant.  You can use an essential oil blend that contains rosemary or drink the herb in a tea.

Ashwaganda (Withania somnifera): this herb is used as a general tonic to restore your nervous system.  Nervous system relaxant.  Stress relief.  You can use this herb in a capsule or in a tea.

Sage (Salvia officinalis): this herb will help to improve memory and brain function.  It will to alleviate fatigue and nervous exhaustion symptoms.  You can burn sage as a smudge, or essential oil blend on its own or in a blend.

Holy Basil (Ocimum santcum): will help against stress and fatigue.  It is an anti-depressive and will help alleviate the symptoms from headaches.  You can use holy basil in a tea or in an essential oil blend.

Please contact Up the Hill at Loakin Herbal Products for more information on these herbs and their uses.

We do carry a Sage Essential Oil blend in our product line. Ask us about herbal preparations made with Holy Basil, Ashwaganda and Rosemary.
